Narita Airport eyes completion of third runway by early 2029
The airport in Chiba Prefecture, which services Tokyo, will see the number of its annual landing and takeoff slots jump to 500,000 from the current 300,000.
In March alone, the number of non-Japanese international passengers using Narita Airport rose 11% from a year earlier to 2,003,482, a record high for the month.
